Hi, I’m Deslie Ghiorzi.

I have a passion for health and nutrition. My journey into health and wellness began over 9 years ago when I started questioning the health of my own body due to gut issues I was constantly experiences. I could have never imagined how much my life was going to change after I started learning about food, our bodies, and our environment. I became 100% plant-based and began advocating for more seasonal, local, and unprocessed foods.

I saw such aa dramatic change in my body and grew such confidence in my body (something I never had growing up) that I was compelled to share this lifestyle with others. So, I opened a small café in Phoenix, Arizona called @coconuthutaz. People from all walks of life came to our café, vegans, vegetarians, athletes, people with food allergies, diabetes, celiac disease, cancer patients and cancer survivors. All drawn to the local organic plant-based options our menu had to offer. I loved sharing my love for food, but I never imagined that I would generate a passion for helping people understand the power of food and especially helping people through difficult health issues. Organically, I gained a few clients that I cooked and meal prepped for.

However, life had a different destination for me. My husband and I began to grow our family and decided that it was time to focus our attention on our two little girls, so we closed our café. But life passions never truly go away, so at 37 years old and after a long educational journey in Business and Environmental Science, I decided to go back to school and deepen my knowledge in Health and Nutrition.

I became a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach with a concentration in Holistic Nutrition. And continue my education is women’s health, gut health, and fitness. I am still an advocate of a plant-based diet but understand that everyone’s biochemistry is unique and plant-based ratios can differ from person to person.

I will forever be a student of life and I enjoy sharing what I learn if it can help others on their journey towards becoming a better version of themselves.

I hope that I can be of service to those looking to create or deepen their relationship with food and with their holistic self. If you have a specific health goal in mind, let me be your advocate and your support. You will be surprised what you can accomplish with a little help from a friend.
